In my four years of blogging, I’ve never told my story. I’ve told bits and pieces here and there, but I’ve always held back. For several reasons I suppose. I’m reserved by nature, always wanting to weigh my words and my motives.
But the truth is, my story is one of brokenness. And sometimes I fear it’s too heavy. So I stay on lighter topics. Not to avoid reality or anything. I just don’t want to be a Debbie-downer.
So I’m excited to be reading through Mended: Pieces of a Life Made Whole by Angie Smith with a group of friends. Because I want the focus of any story I tell to be on His faithfulness to mend and redeem anyone who’s broken.
